Help us celebrate 100 years of Girl Scout Leadership!

Thank you for giving your daughter’s the opportunity to experience Girl Scouting! The quality experience that they receive would not be possible without dedicated volunteers, including your daughter’s troop leaders.
Recognition is a great way to keep leaders energized throughout the year! Recognition can be formal or informal. Consider the following ways to thank your daughter’s troop leaders:
1. Nominate them for the Outstanding Leader Award! (Click http://www.girlscoutsofwesternohio.org/volunteer-resources/Recognitions/1101491-001%20Parent%20Outstand%20Leader%20Packet%202011.pdf     to access the nomination packet. Nominations must be received by February 1st!)
2. Design a special thank you card.
3. Share a kind word or note at a troop meeting.
4. Create a photo collage of the girls in the troop.
5. Create a troop memory book with each girl’s picture, favorite Girl Scout activity and autograph.
6. Present a small token of appreciation.
7. Submit a story of how the leader(s) have impacted the life of your daughter to your regional Girl Scout Center or local media.

If you have any questions, please contact a member of the adult development department at 513-489-1025 or 1-800-537-6241.
Thank you for choosing to make a difference in the life of your daughter through Girl Scouts!
